Craven Cottage Match Day: Where to Eat and Drink Before Kick-Off

Putney Bridge is the closest station and the club's recommended route runs left along Ranelagh Gardens, through the underpass into Bishop's Park and along the river to the ground, a walk of about 10 to 20 minutes. The pubs worth stopping at are on Fulham High Street by the station, so eat and drink there before you set off. Two things to know: Fulham Pier, beside the ground, closes to the public on home match days, and Bishop's Park stays open after every match. Coming from Hammersmith instead, The Crabtree on the river is the pub at that end.
