A full-service gym in an unlikely, rather lovely spot: down by the Thames on Stevenage Road, right beside Craven Cottage. There's a swimming pool, a sauna and steam room, and a full programme of group classes — everything under one roof, so a swim-then-steam evening actually happens rather than staying a plan. The riverside location makes a warm-up jog through Bishop's Park the best perk of the membership. On match days, plan around the crowds.
The sauna/steam room is useful after a swim or class.
