Why it's in the guide
Grade II* listed landmark built 1888-90 in classical Renaissance/Italianate style, directly opposite Fulham Broadway station. The Grand Hall was historically a major venue for concerts and dances. Currently being redeveloped into a boutique hotel and events space while preserving its magnificent original architecture.
Mid-conversion to a boutique hotel, so admire it from the pavement for now — the Fulham Road frontage alone justifies the pause.
